Spring Break in Atlanta

Here are a few pictures from our Spring Break week in Atlanta. Tons of fun stuff to do in town! At the Coke Museum... At the fountain at Centennial Olympic Park... With cousins at the Fernbank Museum... In front of a production site of 'golden rings of love...'

Preparation Day T-shirts

Sometimes, members will design T-shirts for the different zones of missionaries to use on preparation day. Here is one of the latest for the Maricopa Zone.
The missionary popping out of the middle is supposed to be Mark.
Notice who took over Boardwalk and Park Place... Ya baby!

The Arizona Bassett's Easter

On Easter, we spent some time at the visitor's center. We went through the Reflection's of Christ art exhibit (pictures dipicting the life of Christ) and watched God's Plan for Families. We climbed to the top of the stage and took this picture with the temple back drop. Jeffrey took a job over for one of the sisters and wanted to stay all night. He's very much at home there. This is Jeffrey's new suit. He's already outgrown the one we bought last summer. I can't believe how big he's getting. You'd better come visit soon! In these next two pictures, you can see the mad dash for the Easter candy. This picture with Mark happened just as all the eggs were found, and Dad mysteriously happened upon a stash of a dozen, big recess peanut butter eggs. You can tell by Brandon's face that they were having a great time. This picture is of Elder Mackie. He was one of our assistant's until just yesterday when he went out to train a new missioanry for the last few months of his mission. He's a great young man. That smile never leaves his face.We love you!!!!!

Good advice from one of my heros

I'm worried that because of all my incessant jokes and humorous posts, that my beloved family will fail to take any of my blog's seriously. I want you all to know that i love you and am genuinely concerned with your health and well-being. To illustrate this i would strongly advise everyone visiting this site and viewing this informative video from a hero of mine. Please don't mock, this is a very serious topic that i want all of you to be aware of and well educated about.
Love you all!!!!

Hope everybody had a happy Easter! We have to leave by 8 am for church so I made everyone get dressed before they could come down and see what the Easter Bunny left them. They were great sports about it.

Just checking in!

Dave, the kids, and some of our ward members teamed up with the United Methodist Church in Gainesville for a "Great Day of Service" . The Gainesville Times put a picture in the Sunday paper of Megan working hard in a cemetery spreading mulch. The title of this post is a link to the photo.
